My Favorite Silly Little Hambone

The transition of a new sibling isn't ever easy. Lucky for me, while trying to take pictures of Felecia with both of her beautiful kids, I got to enjoy Claire's silly side. Oh how much I love that girl! She always brightens my day. Love you guys!

The Game of Dress Up

I loved playing dress up as a little girl and frankly still do. These images have been taken to capture the beauty of the Game of Dress Up, still loved by all ages of girls....because reliving a moment, like your wedding, or just being silly as a mouse, can be freeing for any woman.

Up-close and Personal with 5 Rock Ranch

These were my three favorite "close" ups from the 5 Rock Ranch. I have some more scenic images that need a little editing, but these were just ready to post! I think these images also show the different aspects to 5RR. The Nurturing side, with Scott and his grandson, the time to revel in God's detail of glory-with the termite log, and then the laughter with well.....the nose! It made me smile.....and back away quickly as I thought the horse might eat my camera! (Short lens....)

Wrinkles of Stories

This is my Great Aunt Laura. She is one of the most cherish women in my life. Now, at age 96, she is also one of the wisest. I took these images of her for my senior show., because my show is inspired by the amazing life that she lead. I wanted to capture her wrinkles as a story, a hard yet dedicated one. She loves Jesus with all of her heart, God bless you Aunt Laura.

Bright Sunshine from the Soul

My original idea with these photos would be me trying to capture the genuine laughter tha young teenage girls have while playing at the beach. While I did capture that, I felt that the main thing relating all these moments with each other was simple joy. I took over two hundred photos during this hour photo shoot and ended up liking the more "blown" out images for this specific series. The images you see below are still my raw, unedited photographs.

Rusty Little Bugger....

This series is one that I have been interested in for a while. Growing up on the beach I watched a lot of things decay to rust. It's so cool to watch the simple element of weather change an object so severely. Molecules so small, doing such damage...
