I loved playing dress up as a little girl and frankly still do. These images have been taken to capture the beauty of the Game of Dress Up, still loved by all ages of girls....because reliving a moment, like your wedding, or just being silly as a mouse, can be freeing for any woman.
These are great. You are really good at capturing the moment of your subjects. There is the ultra romantic quality to your work. The one thing I don't like is that dark layer that you have around the subjects on most of the pictures. You must have burned it in. I think that it is a nice effect, but might be distracting in some of these. I can't wait to see your show!
In the last photo we don't see enough of her outfit to fully understand it, so I would crop even more to just show her face. I would also encourage a bit more contrast as some of the sharpness of your images are getting lost. The first "vignette" looks a bit too extreme (alteast on the blog) so I would suggest using lightroom to put vignette on your work.
Looking forward to your show. Your thought behind the images are wonderful and I hope you continue to put effort into making your concept become reality!
I love the photos, but I think the vignettes on some of them need to be more subtle or not as dark. One of the vignettes is almost framing the people and feels a bit distracting.
